I played golf for the first time yesterday, at Green Harbor Golf Club, Marshfield, MA.  I was pretty nervous, as I was sure that I would mess up a number of times.  However, I was only playing with a couple of my friends, in the twilight hours, so they were not judgemental.  The first 6 or 7 holes went terribly, but by the end of the day, I was shooting a lot better.  I made a couple of nice drives, although my putting left something to be desired.  This experience definitely prompted me to get some lessons, as I plan to do in September, and probably pick up a cheap, used set of clubs of my own.  Will report back with any progress.
